This year we are proud to have several sponsors for the Silicon Valley Tour De Coop!
Slow Food South Bay is the local chapter of Slow Food USA. This chapter geographically covers south of San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Slow Food South Bay actively promotes our local food communities so that everyone can enjoy food that is good, clean and fair.
If you enjoy the SV Tour De Coop on Saturday, we invite you to donate to Slow Food South Bay to help fund clucking fun events like this to better connect you to your food sources and share the bounty of our backyard urban farms! There are 4 membership options from joining our newsletters group (FREE) to becoming full members in the International Slow Food organizations and our local South Bay Chapter. We invite you to find out more about Slow Food USA and it’s important world wide network of organizations and chapters.

We manufacture our Certified Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified animal feeds, supplements and treats with a much more “hands on” approach than most feed mills.
Each of the coop stops on the SV Tour De Coop has been sent a special sample bag of Scratch and Peck Feeds to evaluate. Be sure to ask the coop owners about their favorite brand of chicken feed and feeding practices.
The SV Tour de Coop raffle prize has been provided by Chicken Guardian. If you have registered for the tour as a tourist or a coopster you are in the running! A post tour email will announce the winner!
ChickenGuard Premium Opener and Self-Locking Chicken Coop Door
We are three Texans who believe chickens are more than just animals; they are part of the family and provide food every single day. We truly enjoy our chickens and the amazing culture that surrounds the chicken community. When it comes to feeding our flock, we decided against using pelletized feed with mystery ingredients. Our eggs have become a staple in our daily lives and we believe that what nourishes our flock gets passed on to us. All ingredients in our Chicken Chew are high quality, sourced locally, and each bag is filled by hand in Houston, Texas.
My Urban coop is also providing sample chicken feed for all of the coopsters on the 2018 Tour!
