Cordy’s Coop

Description:

Nicely shaded by a large persimmon tree, our chicken coop provides a ground floor run, upstairs coop, and upstairs nesting boxes. We have three hens, and although the area is spacious, we also let our chickens out to free range on the back part of our garden.

Uniqueness:

We have a small urban farm in downtown Mountain View with an edible garden in the front and raised beds for vegetables in the back. Our house is a net-zero-energy home where the sun produces all our electricity, heating/cooling, and hot water.  The garden is fueled by compost (worm and regular) and a grey water system.

Offering:

Depending on availability, we will offer a dip or spread made from homegrown vegetables, e.g., zucchini spread on crackers.
